Hello dear members of the Madison MAN Coop,

Yes, we're the new The MAN, making opportunities for ourselves and each other to do what we want in the world - caregiving, creative work, community building, civic engagement, learning, rest, and fun - and have a lively humanhood, working for the MAN.

The best way for you to help make this a reality is to use our solidarity economy tools to work for you. Add your offers and needs, and reply to those of others.

Some current requests include:

Log in and check out the marketplace for more details. Soon we'll make ways for you to get select information sent to you more actively if you want.

And join us for some fun upcoming events

Saturday April 22, 4:30pm at Cafe CODA 1224 Williamson

Party! Celebrate Spring and enjoy each other's company at lovely Cafe CODA. We'll also be signing people up for our Everywhere Gardens project, care team interest, and anything else you want to do in the Mutual Aid Network.

This is right after my monthly interview/variety show, The Human Show. That starts at 3, please feel free to join! I'll be interviewing Barbara and Echnaton Vedder, and Micah Vedder is a musical guest. Also featuring music by Johan Petty w/ Elliot of Earthlings. Separate from the MAN event but relevant to building care teams. And fun

Tuesday April 25, 4pm at Social Justice Center 1202 Williamson and on zoom

Mutual Aid for Health and Wellness

We'll host an action-oriented workshop on building a health and wellness network, including care teams capable of meeting more comprehensive needs, plus cooperative models for relieving health care expense.

-- and every week --

Tuesday 3pm HUMAN Communications This is a work group meeting, usually at Social Justice Center and also on zoom, where we tackle work for both the Madison MAN Coop and HUMANs global network, and any other mutual aid projects that show up to work together. Earn hours for your time helping.

Friday 3pm HOME Economics This serves as an orientation to our sharing and exchange systems, either a basic overview for newcomers or a deeper dive into a particular tool.

Friday 4pm Dream Time This is an open session to explore how we can play supporting roles in each other's dreams. Bring your dream to share and we'll see how we could help realize it.

Those are on zoom, and usually at Social Justice Center too. If you want to come in person it's good to rsvp just in case

Thanks for reading this long email. Happy Spring!
