Sourdough bread, napa, and daikon available! + Friday learn and work sessions and more

Hello dear members of the Madison MAN Cooperative!

Want some sourdough bread, napa cabbage, or daikon radish? Better yet, if you want to invite members to get together to make kimchee, croutons, or just distribute the bounty, get in touch asap! Contact Aaron to get the goods ‭+1 (608) 422-3786‬. Or if you're able to get people together reply to this email or text/call 608 443-8229, or post to one of our collectives if you're part of one.

Speaking of that, we're practicing with a new organizing tool. Let us know if you want to play!

Last but definitely not least, every Friday at SJC 1202 Williamson St:
2pm Learning Hour - this week we'll have a conversation with our neighborhood MPD officer (out of uniform) about their policy and procedures regarding ICE, and how we can help our community by being aware of our rights.

3pm Work Hour - the focus rotates depending on what’s needed, and you’re welcome to do your own work alongside us if you like. We’ll continue to build our organizing process for a health and care network and the specifics will be clearer when we get together.

Some Fridays at 4pm we hold a RAD (short for Real Estate and Development) Coop organizing session. Friday 2.13 we’ll hear from Olivia Williams about her perspective and experience regarding cooperative community land trusts and similar models.

Now - please visit https;//madisonman.coop and add and reply to offers and wants, and look at our calendar to see what activities you’d like to participate in. Don’t see what you want or need? Get in touch to let us know. We’re in big organizing, outreach, and recruitment mode this year.

Thanks for reading and participating,

Stephanie
