Supper Club TODAY! 3:30-6:30 at WilMar. Plus seeking Communications help and more...

supper club schedule: 3:30-4:30 collect ingredients and plan menu. 4:30-5 cook. 5-6 eat. 6-6:30 clean and pack up extra food

Hello dear members of the Madison MAN Cooperative,

We hope to see you today at Supper Club, 3:30-6:30 at the WilMar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer. Feel free to just drop in and eat between 5-6 if that's easiest for you.

We'll have some vegan rhubarb bars (cuz I'm bringing them) and who knows what else? Bring extra ingredients if you have them, and we especially love to try what you're growing in your garden.

--

Next Monday 7/28 4-5pm is Peace Practice at the Social Justice Center (SJC) 1202 Williamson St. We're seeking to build skills and relationships to support a peaceable co-existence among the many users and neighbors, housed and un-housed, of the SJC. We share tips and participate in workshops and trainings on a variety of topics, including peaceful communication, conflict resolution, Narcan administration, embodied trauma relief. The participants shape it so you can help decide on activities.

--

And - we're looking for help with our communications work. You can help a little or a lot, on your own time or with a group. What's your preference? What are your skills and interests? Write to us at info@madisonman.coop and let us know if you prefer a phone call, meeting, or to fill out a little survey to get you started.

--

There's a lot of other stuff going on too, and we're also here to help you realize your own dreams. Check our calendar and come to the stuff that interests you, or suggest and host other things. We're working toward a RAD community investment coop, looking at some seriously affordable housing projects, and there are also members with active offers and wants you might match up with. You can find all of that stuff at our website, and email us if you need help accessing it.

Hope to see you soon!

Hello dear members of the Madison MAN Cooperative,

I'll be hosting the HUMANs quarterly Solidarity Summit from the Social Justice Center this weekend, and you're welcome to come in person for it, if you like.

Use the door code MADMAN (623626) to get in, or just knock or ring the doorbell when you arrive.

This is very low-key. If you'd like to bring snacks etc please do. I'm focusing on hosting so I'm not providing anything myself, whatever shows up is at your own initiative :)

The sessions will be awesome, and here are details. Noon-4 on Saturday, Noon-1:30 on Sunday (then Waterfront Festival!)

poster for Everywhere Gardens

How would you like to be involved in Everywhere Gardens?

Do you have space in your yard for more gardening?
Do you want to do some gardening in your neighborhood?
Do you want to teach or learn new garden-related skills?

Join us! It'll be fun and (literally) fruitful.

And thanks to member Hannah for making a beautiful flyer for us. Please feel free to distribute it among your friends and neighbors.

On Tuesday April 29, starting at 4pm. we'll do our Southside gardening tour ending with a party and supper club at Cindy's on Seminole.

People who want to can meet at Social Justice Center and drive over together. Then we'll meet up at Cindy's where some people will likely already be working on her garden bed, we'll tour the sites with Sue's permaculture-informed eyes, and then eat and socialize at Cindy's. Music is an option, too 😊 4-7pm

Hope you can all make it! And meanwhile, plan on every Tuesday at 4 at SJC and online here https://ca.meet.coop/syb-qar-wz9-f48
