Last but definitely not least, every Friday at SJC 1202 Williamson St:
2pm Learning Hour - this week we'll have a conversation with our neighborhood MPD officer (out of uniform) about their policy and procedures regarding ICE, and how we can help our community by being aware of our rights.

3pm Work Hour - the focus rotates depending on what’s needed, and you’re welcome to do your own work alongside us if you like. We’ll continue to build our organizing process for a health and care network and the specifics will be clearer when we get together.

Some Fridays at 4pm we hold a RAD (short for Real Estate and Development) Coop organizing session. Friday 2.13 we’ll hear from Olivia Williams about her perspective and experience regarding cooperative community land trusts and similar models.

On MLK Day 2026 we'll move to our monthly Supper Club to Badger Rock neighborhood Center 501 E Badger Rd, Madison, WI 53713.

We'll mainly hold a potluck for this one, since the kitchen is new to us.

The school is on G, 61, 64, and 65 bus lines, and please let us know if you'd like help with rides. Email info@madisonman.coop or request one here at our marketplace.

Supper Club is on the third Monday each month, 3:30-6:30pm, usually at the WilMar Center which is closed for the holiday.

If you have any extra ingredients, bring them. We'll make a Stone Soup-style meal that will feature a healthy vegan entree plus other treats based on what's available.

3:30-4 Create menu, get additional supplies, and get ready to cook.
4-5 Cook together. Teachers and learners and grunt-workers all welcome

We welcome contributions of money or ingredients, and that's how we'll keep sustaining Supper Club.

Featured Project
Peace Practice – neighborhood level peace making groups where individuals, neighborhoods,
organizations, and law enforcement can refer people and conflicts directly to neighborhood-level
solutions. Current Peace Practice locations including Occupy Tiny House Village on Aberg Ave (2 years)
and the East Side Men's Shelter (4 months). We're seeking to add more Peace Practice locations in
places with need, such as permitted encampments and shelters, and interested organizations and
workplaces. Reach out if you are interested in joining your neighborhood Peace Practice or creating
one for your neighborhood.

Featured Principle
Common Shared Resources - These can include shared meeting spaces, tool and expertise libraries,
exchange platforms, and vehicles for cooperative ownership of the things we need, but don't use
often or can't afford alone.
Our local home base is in Madison's Social Justice Center, which itself hosts free food, a community
pantry for food, books, and other items, and a shared stock of supplies for community events (tables,
chairs, dishes, sound system) - plus an art gallery maintained by founding Madison MAN members
608 Arts.

Hello friends,

This is a quick note to let you know that our Supper Club is on Monday 12/15 at the WilMar Center (953 Jenifer St) at 3:30 as usual, but it ends at 5:30 in order to accommodate another group. So, instead of making all the food there we'll have a potluck and just whip up some snacks at the beginning.

What would you like to eat? What would you like to bring? Should I make a cake??? Here's a signup sheet, or just show up and surprise us.

We'll also have a swap geared toward gift-giving. Have something you need to re-gift from past years, or just something nice you'd like for someone else to have?

And don't forget, Saturday 12/20 at 3:30 we have a little party outside at the Social Justice Center 1202 Williamson - it's supposed to be a nice warm-ish, sunny winter day and we'll have a little portable fire pit to keep you cozy. That day we'll have a bigger gift-oriented swap, plus hot drinks, snacks, and fun company.
